This assignment will NOT be a mere summary of the articles provided; it will be, instead, a critical analysis. To work as a critical analysis, the paper needs to offer an argument that you create about the course material rather than a replication of an argument offered by other scholars within the course material. One important thing to note in order to make an appropriate for completion is that it must include evidence. Please incorporate direct statements from the article in order to defend the thesis stated. There must be a discussion of specific details from the film. I cannot stress this point enough. Please include a title as well. The topic of this paper is the following: In one of our earliest readings for this class (“More Than Culture” by Edna Viruell-Fuentes et. al.), we were presented with the argument that immigration policy itself is health policy. In the latter part of this semester, we have had the opportunity to examine this idea in-depth through Karla Cornejo Villavicencio’s book The Undocumented Americans. Using Cornejo’s text as a primary source, examine the intersection between immigration and health.
