Obtain a construction contract and read the entire contract. Note: If you cannot get a real contract search online for and pick out a contract and READ IT totally!
Once you have read the contract go back and focus on any special provisions or aspects that make this contract unique. Much of any contract is boiler plate legal but the special or unique provisions often what gets contractors into trouble since these are the key elements that MUST be done.
Prepare a report on what the contract covers, what you felt were unique aspects and how you would perform as the project manager for this project. The report should be a minimum of 2 pages, but not more than 3 pages and the contract that you reviewed should be linked so the instructor can look at the contract if desired.
